Welcome to the Coaching Program!

I am looking forward to working with you in one of my favorite formats!

Please take some time to look at the information in this program.

Once you have signed up for this program, if you have not already talked with me (Jana), please reach out to me at 715-642-1506 via text or call so that we can figure out what platform we will be communicating on. Most of my clients use Facebook Messenger. We do not need to be Facebook friends to communicate this way, but obviously you need to have a Facebook page. I do like this format because we can send videos and audio messages back and forth. I also have WhatsApp and we can use that instead of Facebook Messenger.

Once we decide what platform to message each other on, you can get started at any point. You can feel free to send me information about you and your dog, short video clips, questions you may have to get started and what your goal is with the program and with your dog.

If you have not attended an Introductory Session (either group or private), please watch videos about my approach or a replay of a Free Group Introductory Session.

I also have a Problem Solving Behavior Workshop held on Zoom January 16th at 6:30pm that you may find helpful to attend to get more familiar with my approach and working with your dog.

Here are some questions I usually ask new clients to get the conversation going and to learn more about them and their dog. Feel free to copy and paste these questions into a document to reply, or directly into the chat with your reply. You can send me a written reply, an audio message with the reply, or a video reply.

1) What is your dog’s name, age and breed? How old was your dog when you got them?
2) Where does your dog stay during the day when not supervised?
3) Where does your dog sleep at night?
4) Is your dog allowed on furniture?
5) What does your dog get for exercise? If walked, how long are the walks and how does your dog walk on leash?
6) What feeding schedule is your dog on? Are they free fed their food or do they get structured meals?
7) Do you play with your dog and toys? Fetch? Tug?
8.) Would you consider yourself your dog’s roommate or advocate?
9) Can you give me some examples of rules that you have for your dog over some resources?
10) How does your dog initiate attention? What does it look like typically when you give your dog attention?
11) How would you consider your dog’s emotional regulation skills?

Thank you and I look forward to working with you!
