After confirming with Jana that this works for both you and her schedules, you will then agree on how to send the questions.

Typically the questions are sent via email, but if you have a Facebook page they can be sent there. This is so that Jana can send audio messages. You do not need to be friends with Jana to send messages via Facebook, but you do need to send a message to her and let her know your username so she can look out for the message.

Once you have sent some information about the situation as well as your question(s), Jana will either send you a document with a written reply, a video with a reply, or an audio with reply.

Please send some information about your dog(s) as well as your question(s).

Information can include:

• Your dog's name, age, breed.

• How old was your dog when you got them/how long have you had them?

• What other pets are in the household (can include outdoor pets as well).

• Other people in the household (and ages if kids).

• Previous training you have done with your dog, including professionally or on your own.

• Any concerns you have about your dog's behavior.

• If you are sending a question about behavior, please send some information in which you have seen this behavior before with your dog. For example, if your dog is reactive when on walks, please explain when they are reactive-is it when they see other dogs, other people, both?

• If the behavior is new and there have been new things in your dog's life, please let Jana know abou that. For example, have you moved recently? Started a new job? Added a family member or pet to the household? Had a massive change in schedule? Have had a death in the family? Gone through a divource? Going through a stressful time? Struggling with mental health? Etc.

• You can give me a rundown of what your dog's daily routine looks like on work days and/or on days off.

• Answer questions about their life that may be helpful such as how much exercise does the dog get? What type of feeding schedule are they on? Where do they sleep at night? Where are they during the day when not supervised? Are they allowed on furniture? How do they handle stressful situations? Do you think they are confident? How would you describe their temperment/personality?

• What have you done up to this point to manage your dog? To keep them or others safe? To address the concern?
